Artsy Holiday

Hello Friends,

Holidays are a special time to create memories and uphold family traditions. As a creative person, I love spending this time making things. It's a chance to carve out some free time, prepare special meals (usually Italian), bake lots of goodies (also usually Italian), handwrite addresses on our holiday cards, and create many crafts. On Christmas Eve, our family tradition is to watch classic Christmas movies, deliver gifts to our neighbors and local friends (usually Italian food and cookies), and make crafts that my boys can gift to our extended family the next day. We light a fire in the fireplace, put on some music or a movie, and get crafting. It's one of my favorite days of the holiday season, and my boys love it, too. I wanted to share some fun craft projects with you.

I have selected these projects for several reasons. Firstly, they do not require many supplies, most of which you probably already have. Additionally, they are straightforward enough that older children can complete them independently, especially with my simple step-by-step instructions. I also love that each person can use their creativity to make theirs unique and look fantastic and sophisticated, making you want to display them. I often use these crafts as part of my gift-wrapping.

By taking the time to make gifts, we can create cherished family memories. My kids may not always remember what gifts they received for Christmas, but they always remember the time we shared and the things we made together. We look forward to our special dishes and desserts and the time we spend together as a family. If you have any wonderful family traditions you love, please feel free to DM me or email me. It would mean so much to me."

May your holiday season be filled with joy and beautiful memories to cherish for years.
