Sunlight On The Water

Sea, Sun, Sand & Rinbows is a watercolor series I panted while on summer holiday at our bech cottage on Cape Hatteras Island, in North Carolina. It is inspired by that summer feeling, when time slows down and I indulge in the joys that have remained a seasonal constant since childhood. Inspired by those moments when I find myself gazing out onto the horizon as the sunlight shimmers on the water, I painted this original painting on one of those perfect days. I know this print will bring a sense of joy to any space. I personally love it for a baby shower gift or kid's bedroom. When you hang art on your wall and look at everyday, it is ingrained into you subconscious, that is why I often paint art that will bring light, optimism and color to the viewer. This painting is an embodiment of those intentions.
